Nicholas Lawton
Nick is our "cool dude" from the Sierra Nevada`s snowboarding slopes. His motto: "It`s all good!!!" For him, life is one big fly fishing party. And he loves to party it!
An expert on the jet boat, for Nick the "fly fishing party" is something to be taken very seriously, though. Nick is a professional, and you`ll love a day on the river with him. He is always looking for new techniques and tricks, and loves to teach and exchange his experiences. And he is good in that ... very good.
Nick joined our team in 2007 and is now getting ready for his fifth season in Patagonia. In the Patagonian winter he guided for years at Egdorf`s Nushagak Camp in Alaska, where he perfected his jet boat skills. Go for a ride with him in one of our skinny rivers and you`ll know what we are talking about. In 2011, however, he changed the Alaskan wilderness for the great rivers of Montana.
Nick seems to have found his final destiny here in Chile; just last year he married a great Chilean girl, Carola, and we are all afraid that now we will never get rid of him again!
